As your Constituent, I am demanding you refuse to fund President Trump's unconstitutional and unauthorized war against Iran. Trump promised in his campaign that he would not involve us in any more wars, but he's gone and preemptively done just that. This illegal war he and Netanyahu have started is doing nothing to benefit Americans. It is destabilizing to our economy, has now involved at least 17 countries, and could very likely turn in to WW III. It puts service members and ALL Americans at risk and it's costing billions of our tax dollars every day. The Constitution is clear that only Congress has the power to declare and fund war. This is what makes us a democracy, and ensures that our leaders fully consider the many costs of war before sending American troops into danger. Congress must use their funding authority to block any supplemental appropriations bills that might fund this unauthorized bombing campaign and further escalation. You are in your seat because we Alabama voters put you there. We expect you to do what's best for Alabamians and Americans. This means you must do everything in your power to stop this President and his insane war as quickly as possible.
