The bombing of Iran conducted by the Trump administration without Congressional approval is an unconstitutional act that violates separation of powers and circumvents proper checks and balances. Such unilateral military action threatens to escalate tensions and provoke further conflict in an already volatile region. There must be accountability for this abuse of executive power. Impeachment proceedings should commence to address this grave overreach that undermines democratic principles and jeopardizes national security interests. The President's dismissal of established protocols that allow for oversight and consent from Congress cannot be condoned. Constitutional processes exist to prevent reckless warmongering by a single individual.
