Even more egregious is that Hegseth shared this information with individuals who had no legitimate need to know, including his wife, brother, and personal lawyer. This gross mishandling of classified data demonstrates a serious lapse in judgment that is unacceptable for someone in such a critical leadership role overseeing the defense of the nation. Given the severity of these breaches, I urge Hegseth's immediate removal as Defense Secretary to restore accountability and safeguard sensitive information vital to U.S. security interests. The Defense Secretary must be someone who can be entrusted with maintaining the utmost discretion in handling classified matters of national defense.
