This arrangement could undermine other satellite internet providers and stifle innovation in the aerospace industry. Furthermore, the commitment to Starlink terminals was made without proper oversight or a competitive bidding process. Such a unilateral decision circumvents principles of transparency and accountability that should govern contracts involving public infrastructure like airplanes. There are legitimate questions about whether this deal was awarded impartially and in the best interests of the public. To uphold ethical standards and promote a level playing field, I urge you to re-evaluate and potentially cancel this contract with SpaceX. A new open tender process should be initiated to allow all qualified companies to bid for in-flight internet services fairly. Protecting fair market competition and avoiding conflicts of interest must take precedence over the interests of a single private entity. Rigorous scrutiny is warranted to ensure the public's interests are truly being served.
