Stop ICE abuse of power and hold them accountable. I write today to express how appalled I am. Day by day, month by month, there are countless examples of masked ICE agent thugs abusing their power that simply gets swept under the rug or explained away as something that is actually good for the American people. They brazenly say they stand for America, it's citizens, safety and the law, while they push the weak around and attempt to suspend citizens rights; most of the time getting away with it. I am referring to legal papers being refused by ICE, the suspension of Habeas Corpus, reports of sexual and physical abuse of detainees, up to and including killing citizens, which as of January 7th 2026 ICE just did to a woman in Minneapolis during "one of ICE's largest operations". Conservative billionaires that own a sleuth of news companies can attempt to twist this as an act of self defense from ICE, but they can not scrub the truth from eye witness testimonies and first hand footage, in the same way they can not explain away that more than half the prisoners sent to CECOT had no prior criminal convictions while being vilified as "the worst of the worst kinds of people" and subjected to blatant torture. I demand that ICE agents be reigned in and held accountable for their egregious abuses of power; bodycams and the unmasking of agents is simply the first logical step, followed by actually following up on investigations and trials. No matter how extremely angry I an and displeased with both major political parties, I believe that we need to live by each others happiness, not each others misery. We need accountability and good faith from our government officials, because we the people stand united in our communities and with our neighbors, whether they are LGBT+, immigrants, or anything else, and we wont stand for this mistreatment of our neighbors and loved ones.
