As concerned citizens, we demand that Elon Musk be immediately removed from any position of influence within the government. Granting an unelected billionaire with clear conflicts of interest such unprecedented access to shape policies is a blatant assault on our democracy. Musk is not a public servant, yet he has been given an official email address, office space, and ability to influence critical decisions impacting millions of Americans. This is unacceptable. Reports indicate Musk has already pressured federal employees to resign, attempted to cut aid programs to benefit his own interests, and even influenced pardons for the violent January 6th insurrectionists. His spreading of white supremacist rhetoric and gestures celebrated by hate groups is deeply disturbing. Someone with no accountability to the people should not wield this level of power. The United States government exists to serve its citizens, not the whims of the ultra-wealthy. Musk's role is a hijacking of our democratic institution for personal gain and an affront to American values of equality and justice for all. We urge you to reject this corporate takeover and restore our nation's principles by terminating Musk's involvement immediately. Our democracy is not for sale.
