The cruel stunts of relocating migrants across state lines have cost Florida taxpayers over $2.6 million with no tangible benefit. Unqualified political appointments to lucrative university presidencies squander resources that should support education. Using $50 million in public money for anti-marijuana ads was an inexcusable overreach undermining democracy. Rather than theatrical grandstanding, true reform requires allocating funds responsibly, respecting constitutional rights, and serving all Floridians ethically and transparently - qualities sorely lacking in DeSantis' DOGE endeavor.
