Our president is foolishly antagonizing our ally Denmark with loose talk of using military force to illegally take possession of Greenland. If he is allowed to make good on his foolish statements, NATO, an alliance that has stood against authoritarian regimes for generations, will be irreparably weakened. Congress must act to prevent the president from further damaging the United States’ standing in the world. Create legislation expressly forbidding the president from any military adventures in Greenland or using American armed forces to act against any NATO ally. Congress has given the president free rein for far too long. It’s time to check this foolish, incompetent administration. Thank you.
