Our military is already stretched by Trump’s Iran war.
Yet the convicted felon in the White House is picking new fights by posting a ridiculous “U.S. Territories” list that:
• Claims the Strait of Hormuz as ours
• Calls sovereign Micronesia U.S. territory
• Calls sovereign Marshall Islands U.S. territory
• Calls Washington, D.C. a territory
America once projected competence, stability, and leadership. Under Trump, our government increasingly looks confused, reckless, and unserious to the rest of the world.
This is not leadership. It is embarrassing.
Our country needs competent leadership and a path out of war. We do not need a president inventing American territories and creating new diplomatic problems because he apparently is not educated enough to distinguish a sovereign country from a U.S. possession.
We have gone from leading the world to giving it reasons to distrust and laugh at us.
And any member of Congress who continues defending this chaos while believing voters will reward them at the ballot box should seriously reconsider how disconnected they have become from the country they represent.
Stop enabling him. Correct this publicly and rein him in before another ignorant social media post creates another real international conflict.
