NO on the SAVE act!

To: Sen. Slotkin, Pres. Trump, Rep. Stevens, Sen. Peters

From: A constituent in Royal Oak, MI

February 27

The SAVE act is a voter disenfranchisement bill. This bill will disproportionately affect younger voters, voters of color, elderly voters and low income voters. The bill will affect anyone who had changed their name for marriage (women more affected) or for gender affirmation. I demand a no vote for the SAVE act that is “fixing” a problem that does not exist. This bill is supposed to prevent non-citizens from voting, they already can not vote. Arizona and Kansas tried this and tens of thousands of voters were disenfranchised. This is not an election bill. This is a voter suppression bill.
