Congress needs to stand up to Trump. What he tried to do to Canada is beyond wrong. Due to his incompetence Trump is now Lpicking a fight with his gas station, his grocer, his power company and his banker, all of whom turned out to be the same guy, and that guy ran two central banks. That guy is Canada. We need to treat our neighbor better. Do you understand what almost happened Friday night? A foreign government attempted to acquire, by contract, control over Canada’s trade relationships, cultural protections, official languages policy, auto industry, and provincial procurement, with a unilateral-enforcement whip attached, and they tried to do it in the dark, at midnight, on a deadline they manufactured. The 51st state thing was never a joke. It was a mission statement. Friday was the paperwork. You have to stop this. It hurts this country and if it goes on much longer our relationship may become impossible to fix. This is not the time from talk, we need action. Do your job and stop this!
