The government shutdown is hurting families, small businesses, and federal workers. Republican leaders, led by Speaker Mike Johnson and Donald Trump, have stalled progress and refused to seat Adelita Grijalva, denying Arizona voters their representation. To end this crisis, Congress must pass a full funding package, extend Affordable Care Act tax credits, and release the Epstein files so survivors can have justice. It is time for Republicans to stop playing politics with people’s lives and for Congress to do its job. Americans deserve leadership that restores government, protects health care, and stands for truth and accountability.
