Why is there not a windfall profits tax on oil companies? Oil companies should not benefit from Trump’s war on Iran. Income raised from this tax should be used to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. I realize that this has been tried before. Consider the problems with the bill from the 80s to make a better version for the current economic environment.
