The recently uncovered Israeli disinformation campaign targeting over 120 U.S. lawmakers is a blatant violation of democratic norms and an assault on the integrity of our political process. With Israel's Ministry of Diaspora Affairs spending $2 million to hire an Israeli political marketing corporation to wage this campaign, it is clear that this was a well-funded and coordinated effort to unduly influence American policymakers. Such foreign interference in our internal affairs is unacceptable and demands a strong response. I urge you to take immediate action by ceasing all funding and arms transfers to Israel until they provide full transparency about this operation and hold those responsible accountable. Furthermore, funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which provides vital humanitarian aid to Palestinian refugees, should be reinstated to counteract the harmful effects of this disinformation campaign. It is imperative that we send a clear message that any attempt to subvert our democratic institutions through deception and manipulation will not be tolerated.
