An Open Letter

To: Rep. Fleischmann, Sen. Hagerty, Pres. Trump, Sen. Blackburn

From: A constituent in Oak Ridge, TN

July 3

This letter expresses strong opposition to any proposed cuts to Medicare benefits for veterans. My father served in Vietnam and has has issues all his life because of it. Issues the rest of the world can never understand. Veterans deserve support, especially regarding their healthcare. Many rely on Medicare, whether as their primary coverage or to supplement VA benefits and TRICARE for Life. Reducing or eliminating Medicare benefits for veterans could cause significant hardship. It may lead to reduced access to necessary medical care, increased costs, and a lower quality of life for those who have served. Veterans may face unique health challenges related to their service. Access to comprehensive healthcare through Medicare is vital for their well-being. Stand with our veterans and vote against any legislation that would jeopardize the Medicare benefits veterans have earned. Thank you for your time and consideration.
