Israel's continued occupation and blockade of Gaza have created an unlivable humanitarian nightmare. Palestinians are being forced to risk death just to obtain basic food aid due to the draconian policies imposed by Israel with American backing. Cutting off nearly all aid distribution points has created Gaza's latest crisis, with people being gunned down as they desperately seek sustenance. Instead of heeding calls for de-escalation and resuming unfettered aid access, Israel seems bent on compounding Palestinian misery to try forcing them from the territory. This cruel collective punishment of a civilian population is a flagrant violation of international law that cannot be tolerated. All support enabling these war crimes against the people of Gaza must end immediately.
