I'm writing to urge you to oppose OMB's Proposed Federal Financial Assistance Rule (OMB-2026-0034) and block its implementation. The scientific process works because it is objective, and allowing politics to restrict scientific progress hurts everyone. Also, I'm very concerned about the harmful provisions in the National Defense Authorization Act and the wasteful increases in Pentagon spending. I specifically ask that you OPPOSE: Section 224 (or 219), the expanded U.S.-Israel defense technology integration, and funding to rename the Department of Defense the Department of War, and funding for the Golden Dome missile shield, and funding for Trump's new battleship program, and an unnecessarily bloated $1.5 trillion dollar defense budget. Congress should pass a responsible budget that addresses real security needs, not impractical funding for Trump's vanity projects and measures to deepen our ties to a foreign government's military. We do NOT want any more integration between the US and Israel. No FOREIGN govt should be allowed access or to become part of our military in any way!!!
