An Open Letter

To: Pres. Biden, Sen. Fetterman, Sen. Casey, Rep. Scanlon

From: A constituent in Media, PA

April 29

Writing in on over day 100 of the war in Israel and Palestine. I can understand the want and need for a people to defend themselves, but the Israeli army is not actually defending anything - simply killing women, men, and children indiscriminately. It is one thing to take out Hamas, another to genocide an entire people. I am disappointed in the lack of coverage of recent events in Palestine, and lack of words from any of you. I will continue to vote uncommitted for Joe Biden and John Fetterman and am no longer interested in either of them representing me, especially you, John Fetterman. I voted for you to champion for the people of your state, and yet here you are, taking the side of a violent government trying to take out an entire people. I do not blame the Israeli people or the Jewish people - that is unfair. The same way the Palestinian people should not be taken hostage and killed on account of Hamas. I am done.
