Oppose Age Verification Mandates for Internet Access

To: Sen. Durbin, Sen. Duckworth, Rep. Schakowsky

From: A constituent in Chicago, IL

April 21

I'm writing to urge you to oppose the App Store Accountability Act, the Parents Decide Act, and any other legislation that mandates age verification on internet platforms. Current age verification methods are unreliable and threaten our privacy, and they let predatory tech platforms off the hook without accountability.
