An Open Letter

I am writing to strongly oppose any U.S. military action against Venezuela. Military intervention would risk unnecessary loss of life, regional destabilization, and long-term consequences for both Venezuelans and Americans. History has shown that armed intervention in Latin America often worsens humanitarian conditions, fuels displacement, and undermines U.S. credibility rather than promoting peace or democracy. I urge you to oppose any authorization, funding, or support for military action against Venezuela and instead advocate for diplomatic engagement, humanitarian assistance, and multilateral solutions that respect international law and the sovereignty of nations. The United States should prioritize peaceful conflict resolution and avoid another costly and destructive foreign intervention. Please use your position to support diplomacy over war and to ensure that Congress upholds its constitutional responsibility in matters of military force. Thank you for your time and for representing the interests of your constituents. I look forward to your response.
