The SAVE Act is a fraudulent bill because it attempts to fix a problem that does not exist. It creates new barriers for eligible American citizens to register and vote while offering no meaningful benefit to election security. Even the Heritage Foundation—an openly conservative, right-wing think tank—reviewed election cases dating back to the 1980s and found that voter fraud is "vanishingly rare" and less common than being struck by lightning, a finding cited by the Brennan Center for Justice. Please vote NO on this bill and focus instead on addressing the real issues facing your constituents. Congress should spend its time doing real work for the American people rather than advancing legislation based on a nonexistent problem.
