Fight tariffs and inhumane foreign imprisonment

Hello. There is so much to be furious about right now. I appreciate that Congress has tried to reduce the president’s ability to impose tariffs without rhyme or reason and hope you keep pushing hard on that front. But I’m equally concerned about the deportation strategy this president is adopting. We sent a US citizen to a death camp in El Salvador, as well as dozens, maybe well over 100, noncitizens who committed no crimes at all. In and of itself this is horrible. It is made worse when the president defies a Supreme Court order AND caves to the El Salvador president and allows our citizen to remain—let alone all the dozens and dozens of refugees. IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL for the US to send ANYONE to a prison over which it has no jurisdiction. Doing so allows us no recourse to correct mistakes and/or to ensure humane, ethical treatment of these supposed prisoners. It SHOULD ALSO BE ILLEGAL to imprison anyone anywhere without full, fair due process. I know you are in the minority but this issue CANNOT BE IGNORED. Look, I’m a white 3rd generation American. In theory I do not face the threat of deportation to a foreign jail. But I nonetheless am stunned and horrified that this country would ever even consider this illegal, inhumane treatment. PLEASE make some noise about this, and don’t let up. This is an issue to fight about (as is the tariff issue). FIGHT! PLEASE!
