On this Mother’s Day I write you about two things: 1) the continued pressure on Israel to cease violence in Gaza which has resulted in its most grief-filled Mother’s Days in modern history. 2) prioritize maternal care and paid leave for working parents! As a woman with a career I am passionate about and invested in, there is nothing more I’d like on Mother’s Day than increased support provided me in the U.S.
