We already knew Donald Trump didn’t understand the Bible. In 2025 alone, the man who claims he’s bringing Christianity back to America has embodied GREED, LUST, COVETING, BULLYING, and LIES—and now he’s reminding us how little he understands American history. He posted: “Birthright Citizenship is about the babies of slaves… It had nothing to do with Illegal Immigration for people wanting to SCAM our Country.” And: “We didn’t have people pouring into our Country from all over South America… What we had were the BABIES OF SLAVES.” That’s not just historically false—it’s a racist and exclusionary rewrite of the 14th Amendment, which was ratified in 1868 to ensure that all people born on U.S. soil are citizens, regardless of race or parentage. The Supreme Court has already ruled on this—over 125 years ago. In Wong Kim Ark (1898), the Court upheld citizenship for a child born in San Francisco to Chinese parents barred from naturalizing. Lawmakers at the time also invoked protections for the Irish, another marginalized group whose loyalty and status were questioned. Trump is trying to erase all that precedent with a social media tantrum. He calls America “a STUPID Country” and rants about “SUCKERS” and “vacation citizens,” as if immigrants are cartoon villains. This isn’t leadership. It’s bigotry masquerading as nationalism. And this is the man who represents the U.S. on the world stage? If our kids acted like him—spewed ignorance and hate like this—they’d be kicked out of school and church. But I guess when you’re rich and loud enough, you can buy Christian values and rewrite the Constitution too. He ended his rant with: “Good luck with this very important case. GOD BLESS THE U.S.A.!” He may invoke God’s name, but his words betray every value Christ taught—truth, humility, justice, compassion. Hold this man accountable—for his corruption, his cruelty, and his complete disregard for the laws and history of the nation he was elected to serve. He has made America, Christianity, and the Republican Party the punchline of jokes around the world—and the tragedy is, no one’s laughing here at home. The world is watching. So are we.
