My letter (via Resistabot) today: I am constituent of yours, and I am writing to express my absolute outrage at the actions of the Musk administration and the dangerous direction in which it is taking this country. From undermining our fundamental liberties to gutting critical cancer research funding, from reckless mismanagement of the Treasury Department to an ever-growing list of alarming policies, this administration is proving itself to be a disaster for the American people. The assault on our freedoms is unacceptable. Government exists to protect the rights of its citizens, not to erode them. The cuts to life-saving medical research are beyond cruel—they are shortsighted and will cost lives. Meanwhile, the Treasury and Education Departments are being handled with the same reckless abandon that has characterized so many other aspects of this administration. These are not policies that serve the people; they are policies that serve only the powerful at the expense of everyone else. This is not governance. This is destruction. And the people of Alabama—and the country—deserve better. I urge you to take a stand against this administration’s reckless agenda and fight for the well-being of your constituents, our economy, and our future. I look forward to your response and to seeing real action taken to push back against these dangerous policies.
