Demand for a Real Ceasefire and Accountability for Continuing Atrocities in Gaza I am writing with deep anger and frustration regarding the so-called "Phase 2" of the Gaza truce agreement, which has proven to be a fiction. While this announcement has been promoted as a step toward peace, there has been no actual ceasefire on the ground. Since this phase began, reports from Gaza confirm that Israeli forces have continued military operations, resulting in the deaths of Palestinian civilians, including women and children, and the further destruction of homes and vital infrastructure. This is not a pause in violence; it is a continuation of the same brutal campaign under a deceptive label. The United States cannot continue to endorse empty diplomatic agreements that serve as cover for ongoing atrocities. By providing unconditional military and political support to Israel, the U.S. is directly complicit in this violence. I demand that you take immediate and concrete action: 1. Publicly reject the current "truce" as a sham and insist on an immediate, total, and permanent ceasefire, monitored by independent international observers. 2. Suspend all military aid and arms transfers to Israel until a verifiable ceasefire is in place and there is a full, independent investigation into the atrocities committed against Palestinian civilians. 3. Support all international legal mechanisms, including the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court, to hold the Israeli government accountable for war crimes and violations of international law. A lasting peace cannot be built on lies and the graves of innocent people. The time for unequivocal action to stop the killing and uphold justice is now.
