The continued overreach and authoritarian actions by certain leaders threaten the foundations of our democracy and the rule of law enshrined in the Constitution. As elected representatives, it is imperative that you take decisive action to uphold democratic norms, checks and balances, and the civil liberties of all Americans. Failure to address these escalating abuses of power erodes public trust and emboldens those who seek to undermine our most cherished values and institutions. I urge you to stand firmly against any attempts to subvert the will of the people and our democratic processes.
