Please block any transfer of National Park Service land inside Yosemite to Kingsbarn Realty Capital. The Trump administration is reportedly pushing the park service to hand over a quarter-mile parcel inside Yosemite — America's first national park — to a Nevada developer who wants to build a private road connecting his adjacent 83-acre plot to a central park route. This is a backdoor deal to privatize public land for a well-connected developer, and it needs to stop. Yosemite belongs to every American, not to donors looking to profit off it. The previous owner of that same land spent decades lobbying for this exact access and was turned down every time. The fact that this proposal has been quietly advancing inside the park service — while the Interior Department publicly denies any pressure — makes it worse, not better. I have loved Yosemite since the first time I visited, it is a jewel in the crown of one of the most important national park systems in the world, and it should be protected at all costs. I expect you to use every tool available to block this transfer and demand full transparency on any land exchange discussions involving our national parks.
