The need to act promptly against domestic threats to our constitution, country, and rule of law is urgent and has been for, I am sure, longer than anyone who has taken a federal oath cares to admit. The paralysis caused by decades of political and social manipulation (including civilian versions of propaganda and psy-ops, above and beyond obstruction, opportunism, and bureaucracy, do not excuse inaction. Executive orders and rash actions ignoring Congressional checks on executive power merely underscore how inexcusable minimizing the threat has been. An unelected billionaire has the President’s blessing to download personal data on all of us. He says that billionaire does nothing without his permission and blessing, and I know not to disbelieve his boasts. Stop him, for the sake of our government and society.
