It is the time of year when ordinary Alabamians start gathering their W-2s and other documents to file their income taxes with the IRS. They are also seeing headlines that President Trump is suing the IRS for ten billion dollars. As a financially and constitutionally conservative Alabamian I am appalled. Taking ten billion dollars from an institution HE controls is a clear conflict of interest. Pocketing ten billion tax payer dollars isn’t balancing the budget. Alabamians are paying our taxes as the president takes 10 billion?! This is an outrage that will not go unnoticed by the conservative people of Alabama. It is time for Congress and the Senate to check and balance the executive branch. Stand up to the Trump family before they rob us blind financially and ethically. Stand up and restore constitutional norms before they are irreparably broken. History is watching. The people of Alabama are watching.
