Prioritize education, healthcare access over coercive fertility policies

To: Sen. Warnock, Pres. Biden, Rep. Collins, Sen. Ossoff

From: A constituent in Athens, GA

December 11

The call to decrease education access in order to raise birth rates is misguided and harmful. Education empowers individuals and families, providing opportunities for personal growth and economic stability. Limiting educational attainment will not solve population challenges, but rather exacerbate socioeconomic inequalities. We should embrace policies that promote comprehensive sexual education, access to reproductive healthcare, and support for families - allowing people to make informed decisions about if and when to have children. Prioritizing education over fertility rates upholds human rights and enables sustainable population levels throughChoice, not coercion. I urge a reconsideration of this regressive stance that disempowers people and undermines progress.
