There are growing calls for the House Ethics Committee to release its full report on the investigation into alleged sexual misconduct and drug use by former congressman Matt Gaetz, who has been nominated by President Trump to serve as Attorney General. The public deserves transparency on these serious allegations before considering Gaetz for such a high position of public trust. As a representative body, the House Ethics Committee's findings should be made available to provide crucial information during the confirmation process. Withholding this report would only breed further suspicion and undermine faith in our institutions. In the interest of accountability and restoring integrity in government, I urge the immediate release of the complete Ethics Committee investigation into Matt Gaetz.
