I understand this is falling on deaf ears but I cannot remain silent. Israel has moved beyond any morally-defensible actions of defending itself. The genocide of Gaza continues, the land-stealing, murder and forced evacuations of the West Bank, and now mass terrorist acts committed against Lebanon. No one should feel safe in a world that enables any group to detonate personal communication devices en masse. For whatever extremists Israel claims to have been targeting once again children and civilians are killed and maimed. Israeli soldiers throwing and kicking dead bodies off rooftops - there is nothing to support or defend in their actions. I watched armed Israeli settlers storming an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in the West Bank and assaulting ELEMENTARY STUDENTS!!! The only conscionable action is an immediate arms embargo and sanctions on the radical, terrorist Israeli government. Like most in my generation, I will only support political leaders who commit to these overdue and necessary actions. Please, in our name, for our future and for our children’s future, do better.
