Vote no on KOSA

To: Rep. Schakowsky, Sen. Durbin, Sen. Duckworth

From: A verified voter in Chicago, IL

June 29

I'm writing to you because once again Congress is threatening to pass KOSA -- a bill I've written to you about many times before, asking you to oppose it. Requiring ID verification puts people in danger -- especially the most vulnerable, and especially under this administration. As a trans person, this affects me and those close to me personally. Republicans have already threatened to use these bills to keep people from seeing information about LGBT topics, among other abuses, and every time this has been tried elsewhere it leads to censorship and exposure of private information when this is inevitably leaked. Please vote NO on KOSA and any similar bills!
