There are a number of humanitarian crises globally, including Israeli massacre of thousands of civilians and the war and starvation in Sudan. The United States has the funds and capacity to truly give aide (not bombs). We can help people. Truly help people. But instead, our money goes towards inflicting pain and misery. The violence begets more violence. Foreign security experts are warning of possible terrorist attacks against the United States because of our involvement in the Palestinian genocide by Israel. We could be doing the opposite. We could be taking care of people. We could be making friends and allies. But that doesn’t serve AIPAC, Raytheon, and other corporations - as well as all congressional members and wealthy donors and lobbyists who own stock in said companies. Our foreign policy is despicable and can and should be much better. Time to stand up for humans globally. Time to flood Sudan with food and medicine. Time to stop giving any aide to Israel. Time to do all we can to help Palestinians and Ukrainians. Time to help the millions of people in the world. We can go forward with open arms or continue to fight in this downward spiral of our own creation.
