I am writing to you today as a public school teacher, long time Democratic voter and your constituent. I receive between 10-15 emails and texts a day from the Democratic Party and President Biden’s campaign, asking me to donate. While you continuously ask this one question of me, I have a question for you too. What are you doing to protect innocent people in Gaza from bombs, snipers, and starvation? It is heartbreaking to watch the news and to listen to the testimony of Palestinian people who have lost their homes, their limbs, and their families. While I am forced to pay for this genocide with my tax dollars, I cannot in good conscience give you more money to continue this onslaught. No more munitions to Israel. Ceasefire now. Immediate humanitarian aid to Palestinian people in need. Open the borders to Egypt.
