The situation in Ukraine continues to be dire, with Russia's unprovoked invasion now in its third year. I implore you to reconsider the administration's stance and unequivocally condemn Russia's violation of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Enabling or legitimizing this aggression undermines fundamental principles of international law and human rights. Aligning with our democratic allies, we must make clear that Russia's actions are unacceptable and demand an immediate, complete withdrawal of Russian forces from Ukraine. Failing to do so emboldens authoritarianism and threats to global stability. Ukraine has shown resilience in defending itself, but continued military and humanitarian aid is crucial. The world is watching how we respond to this assault on democracy and self-determination. Holding Russia accountable and supporting Ukraine's right to exist freely within its borders is not only morally right, but key to maintaining a rules-based international order. I urge prioritizing diplomacy toward a just, lasting peace that respects Ukraine's sovereignty.
