I’m writing about a constituent’s wife who was wrongly detained by ICE on Dec 4 after a marriage-based green card interview. Her husband is fighting cancer and depends on her as his sole caregiver. This is a humanitarian emergency. My aunt, Victoriia Bulavina is a kind, loving mother who was torn away from her husband during their final marriage-based green card interview at the courthouse. She is a Ukrainian Refugee who is here with temporary protection status and is currently being held in an undisclosed location with little to no contact with her husband and their lawyer. I am trying to spread the word in hopes that we can help return her to her husband, children, and home as soon as possible.
