Any policy restricting trans healthcare that cites the McMaster University studies commissioned by the Society for Evidence Based Gender Medicine (SEGM) must be immediately disqualified. Internal documents obtained through a public records request reveal that SEGM paid McMaster over CA$300,000 and was granted editorial control and veto power over the research methods.
