Preventing Harvard from hosting the nearly 7,000 international students currently enrolled not only deprives those individuals of educational opportunities but also damages the university's academic and research missions built on cross-cultural exchange and collaboration. This punitive action undermines America's global reputation as a destination for higher learning and innovation. It is crucial to preserve the ability of universities to welcome talented students from around the world, fostering an environment of intellectual curiosity and cross-pollination of ideas that drives progress.
