Resume military aid to Ukraine to uphold democracy

To: Rep. Malagari, Sen. Collett, Sen. Fetterman, Gov. Shapiro, Pres. Trump, Rep. Dean, Sen. McCormick

From: A constituent in Lansdale, PA

March 4

The United States' decision to pause all military aid to Ukraine is deeply concerning. A prolonged suspension of this crucial assistance will undermine Ukraine's ability to defend itself against Russian aggression and jeopardize hard-won gains in the conflict. Ukraine is not just fighting for its sovereignty, but for the principles of democracy and self-determination that the U.S. has long championed. Continuing robust military support to Ukraine is vital for upholding these values and promoting regional stability. I urge the administration to promptly resume military aid shipments to our Ukrainian partners who rely on this aid to protect their citizens and territory from further Russian incursions. A loss of U.S. backing now would severely weaken Ukraine's position and embolden further Russian belligerence, ultimately undermining America's strategic interests in the region. Standing firm with Ukraine through sustained military assistance is critical to bringing about a resolution to this conflict that respects Ukraine's territorial integrity and right to self-governance.
