It is deeply concerning to see threats being made to impeach federal judges for issuing rulings that may go against the administration's wishes. This represents a dangerous assault on the vital system of checks and balances enshrined in our Constitution. The judiciary must remain independent and free from intimidation or retaliation for upholding the rule of law. Calls to remove judges who stand in the way of executive overreach are an attack on the separation of powers and the democratic foundations of our republic. We cannot allow such undermining of our judicial institutions and must steadfastly defend the independence of the federal courts. I urge you to forcefully reject any efforts to impeach judges simply for ruling against the president's agenda and to speak out against these threats as contrary to our constitutional principles.
